Join us and Start Becoming a Lean, Green, Peace-Making Machine!
Our beautiful planet is in peril, and we recognize the responsibility we all carry. We must begin healing our bio-sphere and developing sustainable living practices.
We’re glad to serve you as we work to heal ourselves, our world and start to~turn the tides ~
in the composite eco-crises that we face together. Together, we can form a collaborative creation– a new, green spirituality that treats all life as sacred. A collaborative that raises global consciousness towards a way of life that embeds permaculture into our society and serves to protect the balance of the natural laws that sustain every living thing.
It starts and ends with you. Every choice you make matters–especially your food choices. Our food supply is at the end of the eco-chain. The choices we make regarding what we eat can either start to reverse the damage to our biosphere or continue to contribute to the decline of the health of our planet.
Yours must be the choice for organic, naturally and locally-grown produce. This, more than any other thing, will change how the world does business. Big agri-business depends on what we, as consumers, choose. If we continue to choose processed, refined, non-organic and genetically modified foods, we are telling big agri-business that their practices are okay. Natural food will continue to be scarce and expensive because government subsidies will continue to fund the status quo–processed, refined, chemically fertilized and homonally altered food. Food that is sick makes us sick when we eat it, and makes our planet sick because of the huge drain of energy it costs to produce this unnatural, pseudo-food.
If, however, we start to overwhelmingly choose only natural, organically-grown foods, free from pesticides and learn to prepare and eat them in their unprocessed, unrefined state, agri-business will be forced to meet the demand. Soon we will see local farmers thriving with abundant crops of real foods: vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts and grains.
If we start to grow some of our own food, either through gardening on a plot of our own land or can participate in a community garden or even just sprouting some of our food, this, too, will help to return us to a more natural state and serve to heal our larger eco-systems.
This approach will serve to repair our planetary food supply. It will be restored to it’s full nutritive power, and then maybe a tomato will taste like a tomato again, instead of cardboard. And we, ourselves will be healed along with our agricultural lands, our waterways and our eco-systems.
